2010 BC Fire Training Officer’s Conference

The BCFTOA annual conference is quickly approaching, and Kelowna’s Tom Doherty, Ken Jacobson, Glenn Paley and West Kelowna’s Darren Lee are working extremley hard to ensure this years conference is a huge success. There are many great hands on, and educational workshops organized to cover a wide range of subjects, please view the web site for additional information http://bcfiretraining.ca/news. We have also secured pricing with West Jet and Central Mountain Air, to assist departments attending from afar, who won’t want to miss out on this year’s conference.

For those of you who would like to make it part of your Okanagan camping experience, Chief Rick Jennens has offered his 1 ½ acre camping area located at 600 Curtis Road in Kelowna, to conference participants, these sites are non serviced. If you travel with GPS capabilities the postal code is V1V-2C9.

One of our goals to the success of this year’s conference is to ensure information is passed on to as many departments as possible in BC, Alberta and the US. I am at this time asking for your assistance by forwarding this information on to the departments in your area. Please find attached a brochure to print post and forward.
