Funeral Services for Fire Chief Bruce Harder who passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2006

Location: Carcross, Yukon
Date: Saturday September 9, 2006
Time: 2:00 PM (14:00 hours)

Ceremony to be held at the Carcross School.

Fire, EMS, SAR personnel to meet at the Fire Hall (beside RCMP station) 1 hour prior to the service. Please leave early and expect up to ½ hour delay from Whitehorse to Annie Lake Road due to the Klondike Road Relay Race.

Dress: Formal: Class “A” for those people who have them.
Medals will be worn.
All others with uniform of any kind (Wildland Fire, EMS, SAR)
Other Firefighters: Turnout coat and helmet, dark slacks.

Flowers can be delivered to the EMO building at 60 Norseman Rd. in the airport area (by the DC-3 weather vain) before 15:00 Thursday, September 7 and Friday September 8 for transport to Carcross or brought to Carcross on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carcross Area Rescue Team Association at the Whitehorse branch of the CIBC.

For those Fire Chiefs attending, please make sure your areas are covered in case of an emergency!
