Representation to the Federal Government:

Through resolutions from the CAFC, Provincial Associations and
individual members presented to the federal government on your behalf;

By annual delegations to address pertinent requirements by fire
service representatives across Canada face-to-face with key decision
makers including MPs, Ministers and various senior staff in Ministries;

By representation from the recognized Voice of the Fire Services
in Canada;

By representation on federal committees and working groups affecting
the fire service in Canada;

Government Awareness Week where CAFC Executive, CAFC Board members
and others meet in Ottawa to lobby for Fire Service issues from
across Canada;

With dissemination of information through our government email
delivery PACS Canada system that communicates directly with key
representatives of government departments in Canada and media across
the country;

Fire Chiefs from all parts of Canada and from Fire Departments
of all sizes are already regarding their CAFC dues as a sounds investment;
and
-
By immediate action on issues that may have a negative impact on
the fire services in Canada.
